I was born in Tibet, became refugee at the age of 4 and made India my second home. I went to the best school some one can afford (www.tcv.org.in) except that it is free for Tibetan refugee children,destitute and orphans. It's founded by His Holiness the Dalai Lama's late mother Dickyi Tsering, then later taken over by his late elder sister Tsering Dolma. Then his younger sister Jestun Pema took over. We call her fondly "Amala" meaning "mother". I am very very grateful to this institution. TCV ( Tibetan Children's Village) school is our PeaceJam Affiliate for India and that's how I got introduced to PeaceJam. I moved to States in July of 2007 to work for PeaceJam and be with my love ( Brett). He is the most awesome guy I know. So my life has been very kind to me. I believe in miracles cause my life has been one. I love life and I think it loves me back as much. :)
