Project Goal: This project is run by St. Baldrick's Foundation, an organization that raises money for children's cancer research through people volunteering to brave the barber's chair. Shavees (people who decide to go bald) raise money "on their head." The goal is to fundraise for this cause and stand with people who have lost their hair to cancer. Root Cause: The need for children's cancer research funding.
Project Plan: I have registered for a St. Baldrick's shaving event and set a fundraising goal of $100. I have been trying to collect donations, and on March 20th, I will go under the razor! The events are occurring all over the world, so if you can't make the CO 3/20 event, chance are that you can still make a difference! |
