Project Goal: Our goal for the project was to earn money to go to Haiti to help the situation there in any way that we could. We are helping bring water to people and lessen a problem that was causing violence after the earthquakes hit Haiti.
Root Cause: After the two earthquakes hit Haiti, there was a shortage of water, which was increasing the violence due to people’s desperation. Few supplies were reaching Haiti, so there was a lack of food and clean water. Once food and water are brought to Haiti, the violence on the streets can be lowered.
Project Plan: We tried to get as many bands as we could to help out. We asked as many people possible to get help from. Our school’s computer graphics teacher helped us design and print posters.
Planet Rock hosted the concert and organized the bands for us. We helped with advertising and organizing students to attend. |
