Project Goal: Letter writing campaign to President Obama to sign treaty to end U.S use of landmines.
Root Cause: Landmines used in times of war have lasting effects years after peace has been established. They are hidden in the ground and innocent people are injured and killed by them.
Project Plan: We are going to canvas our neighborhoods to inform residents of the effect of landmines on people around the world. We want to encourage people to send a letter of support to President Obama encouraging him to sign the treaty to end U.S. use of landmines. |
