Halt on Stereotypes!
Ending Racism and Hate
Location:Providence, Rhode Island, United States

Project Goal: My goal is to analyze, explain, and address stereotypes of African Americans in the media.

Root Cause: One main cause of these negative stereotypes are colonizers that migrated into Africa and stropped Africans of their culture and turned their image into one of untamed savages. Other causes are: The Black Face stereotype, the KKK, 3/5 law, slave owners and their beliefs/actions.

Project Plan: Step 1: Research Step 2: Put together a presentation Step 3: Gather real life data Step 4: Plan what to do Step 5: Make T-shirts with their truth, sell them, and donate the money to an African American organization.
