Project Goal: We learned about the unjust imprisonment of Burmese Leader Aung San Suu Kyi, we decided to act locally and ignite a letter writing campaign through out the 7th grade.

Root Cause: Corrupt governments sans democratic process

Project Plan: Using the Amnesty website for resources, we compiled data to give student some talking points for their letters. Then during Language Arts class, we reviewed business letter format and drafted letters to the Burmese Foreign Minister calling on the release of Aung San Suu Kyi
