Books for Africa
Rights for Women and Children, and their Role as Leaders
Location:Providence, Rhode Island, United States
Created:12/23/2011
Last Update:2/3/2012
Project Goal: To put more books in the hands of children. To allow every child to have the gift of knowledge and reach their utmost potential.

Root Cause: There are not enough resources in schools for children across Africa.

Project Plan: We affiliated with a Better World Book Drive, Books for Africa more specifically to create and run a campus wide book drive. We set up bins in various locations thoughtout our campus and collected any used or new books from our faculty and student body. We collected hundreds of books from our school community and now these books are being shipped to children all across Africa.
