What research was done for this project? Brainstorming community needs, internet research to minimize the needs that we would address at one time.
Looked up the amount of people in Kansas City who go without food every year and the amount of water that is polluted.
Looked up information on the internet and looked up current statistics on hunger and water pollution in our city. |

How was this project decided upon? We made a big discussion about all the things that are affecting our world. Then voted and eliminated some of the issues. Then everybody made a case on the ones that we still had and we voted again.
Our group decided to volunteer at Harvesters and also clean up Darter Park. |

| How is this project going to make a difference? Harvesters provides children with food for the weekend. The clean stream makes Darter Park a more enjoyable place to visit. |
