Project Goal: Our goal is to help Partners of the Americas and their project to raise $70,000 for a portable mammography machine for the region of Goias in Brazil.
Root Cause: The cause is a lack of access to proper medical attention for the women in this region of Brazil and the need to help them have access to this machine and medical attention.
Project Plan: We invited the local Partners of the Americas group to come to our high school during our homeroom/free period and set up their materials in the cafeteria so as to attract students to come help make bracelets and necklaces for them to sell, overall we made over $200 worth of jewlry for them. |
