Project Goal: On Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Peacejam and Amnesty members will promote a writeathon to try and help prisoners of conscience and others whose human rights are being violated. This is an international campaign

Root Cause: Social Justice and Human Rights for All

Project Plan: 1. Register with the Amnesty writeathon site 2. Print letters and information. 3. Purchase necessary office supplies. 4. Advertise. 5. From 2 -6 p.m. meet at Turtle Rock coffee shop by the University and while writing letters ourselves, educate and encourage other patrons of the coffee shop about our issue as well. (We have help with this from the owners for the coffee shop because Turtle Rock is wonderful!) 6. Get stamps and mail all letters and signed petitions.
