Project Goal: Our project will be phase two of a project to increase social awareness, by developing and presenting a challenge to each classroom within the schools of our school division with the help of PeaceJam program.

Root Cause: Apathy or lack of social actions allow many of these issues to go unanswered. Unless we encourage others to take a stand and engage in actions, we are not heading toward peace.

Project Plan: Our project will be phase two of a project to increase social awareness, by developing and presenting a challenge to each classroom within the schools of our school division. We will introduce the goals of PeaceJam and the Global Call to Action; to become aware of how they can make a contribution by become a part of Albertans Heading for Peace. Each classroom will be challenged to select an issue to address. They will develop an action or project that will evoke change. We will provide the mentorship, support and facilitate the collection of peace project's data to submit to PeaceJam as a group. Our project allows for growth and expansion.
