Project Goal: PeaceJam and the University of Colorado have joined forces to provide an international service learning travel study course for 3 weeks in Guatemala. We will work and volunteer with the Rigoberta Menchú Tum Foundation. College age students are welcome to fill-out an application at http://studyabroad.cudenver.edu/TS/Student/Summer%202010/Guatemala.htm

Root Cause: We will address any needs and support we can provide to moving forward the mission of the Foundation.

Project Plan: For 3 weeks UCD and Metro students from the Auraria campus in Denver will learn about human rights issues affecting indigenous Maya populations and volunteer their time to assist the Rigoberta Menchú Tum Foundation.
