PeaceJam at Red Rocks

A group of PeaceJammers braved the gale-force winds on Sunday to work at the Greg Mortenson "Journey of Hope" event at Red Rocks. Enjoy the pictures, which are mostly of us trying to keep the booth from flying away, Mary Poppins-style.
It was a pretty cool day, though- all about empowering youth to be strong leaders, using other successful youth as examples. Greg Mortenson spoke and his daughter emceed the event; there were recorded interviews with Nick Kristof and Tom Brokaw; and Braddigan performed...granted, we were too cold to stay for the entire show but PeaceJam definitely had a presence and I was glad to be there!!
