2009 Global Call to Action Challenger Winners, Ponderosa High School, are at it again! Check out this blog that is bringing attention to the past, present, and future of Ponderosa's amazing Global Call to Action Project.

From the outside, Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colorado looks like the typical suburban high school. Its squat, brick structure is situated between of several student parking lots and in front of a neighborhood. To the right sits a football field and a track, and to the left a bus loop veers off from the main road. At first glance, there is nothing physically remarkable about the property. Except, that is, for a tall, thin metal pole topped by large curved blades protruding from the ground. There is a giant wind turbine in between the sports field and the parking lot.
