Conference promotes non-violenceCaitlin Wilkinson (left) and Olivia Hamilton, both of Knoxville, paint part of a large mural with fellow PeaceJam students at Lester Elementary School on Saturday. The mural designed by professional muralist Valerie Aranda will be reflective of the nonviolent teachings of PeaceJam, inspired by the work of Nobel Peace laureate Shirin Ebadi, the honored guest and speaker. The BRIDGES PeaceJam Mid-South Conference 2010 concludes this afternoon with a closing ceremony at Rhodes College.
