Award Winning Photographer Bradlee Arendt will be giving a fun and informative Photo/Video Webinar this Wednesday, June 3rd.

"It's gonna be a great time to learn how to take better photos and videos," says Arendt, the webinar's coordinator. "No matter what you're taking shots or footage of, after this webinar, you will produce better work."

Arendt says this is a perfect time to learn new tips if you want to show the world the work you've been doing in your PeaceJam Club. "With the launch of this awesome new website, and the upcoming Global Call to Action, this is a great time to learn more about video and photography," says Arendt.

The webinar isn't just limited to PeaceJam imagery, says Arendt. "Maybe you have a vacation coming up or you're studying abroad or even if one of your siblings is having a baby, this would be a perfect opportunity to learn how to better capture the special events in your life."

Topics covered during the webinar will be composition, lighting, story telling, angle, equipment basics and additional resources.

"There are slight changes anyone can make that can send their photos and videos leaps and bounds ahead of the rest," says Arendt. "It can be as simple as turning off the flash or putting the subject in a different location in the frame."

For those unsure their camera is up to par, Arendt emphasizes that you can take great photographs and videos with nearly any camera.

The webinar will be taking place from 4:30-5:30PM MST on June 3rd. The price is $15 for the webinar and phone and website access will be given to paid participants. To sign up, email Arendt at brad@peacejam.org or call 303-455-2099.

"Many people do not realize the power of photography and video," Arendt says. "It has the capacity to end wars, raise awareness and money for the causes that need it, and make true progress in the struggle for global peace."
