Great Lakes Welcomes Summer Interns, Bids Farewell to Spring Interns |

Please give a warm round of applause for our newsummer Community-Based Interns from Kalamazoo College:
Farhiya Hassan and Stann-Omar Jones.
Farhiya is a rising sophomore at Kalamazoo College from St. Paul MN. She will work closely with the PeaceJam Task Force and staff on fund development and outreach strategies throughout the summer.
Stann is back for a second summer, having interned with us in the summer of 2011. This fall Stann will be a Junior at K and will study abroad in France. While at Seeding Change, he'll be helping us with our outreach, recruitment, and social media
Farewell Social Work Interns
On June 22 we will also bid ado to our three dynamic interns from WMU's Social Work department: Jill Johnson, Raymon Moore, and Megan Way. This trio took part in our first-ever Coach Initiative, facilitating the PeaceJam Leaders program in Kalamazoo middle schools, helped make our Conference a huge success, and coordinated our Pieces of PeaceJam Showcase at the June 1 Art Hop!!
