This is wonderful. Jose is always a big supporter of his fellow Nobel Peace brothers and sisters. I know he has always helped me when I needed support for Shirin and I really admire that he never forgets the people's struggle! I'm also so excited for Bradford to have such an awesome person and president in their town and on their campus this weekend! How exciting, and how special that he survived the gun shots and is back giving of himself and vision for a better world to the PeaceJammers again. We are lucky that he will be our Laureate this year for our Rocky Mountain PeaceJam as well :) Bradford, put your mighty power behind this campaign because I have seen how strong and determined your PeaceJammers are!

On Saturday they will be working in groups with university student mentors, doing voluntary work designing products to make and sell to raise money for Haiti, clearing a nature reserve, reconditioning carpentry tools to be sent to artisans in Africa, and helping unite homeless cats with elderly and disabled people.

On Sunday the young people will be exploring a range of issues such as racism, homophobic bullying, poverty, political oppression in North Korea and poverty in the UK.

This conference gets better and better each year! Great work UK PeaceJam and all the best to the team and the Jammers who gather this weekend! Can't wait to put the petition up in the PeaceJam Pulse!
