PeaceJam and PeaceJam youth were recently highlighted in two publications. The Reporter in Vacaville, California did a piece on an environmentally friendly fashion show and The Trail-Gazette in Estes Park, Colorado covered sustainability and ecotourism discussions at the Eagle Rock Earth Fest.

Jacqueline Rosenberg, a sophomore at Buckingham Charter Magnet High School in Vacaville, practices her walk down the runway inside the school's gymnasium Thursday in preparation for the "Renew You Fashion Show," an eco-friendly show featuring fashion from the models' closets. Juley Harvey, Trail-Gazette wrote:
Tedi Huszagh, a student with PeaceJam at Ponderosa High School, said her school is renowned for environmental activities to make it more sustainable. They have a school-wide recycling program that reduces 70 percent of the trash. "It's saved the school a lot of money, $892 a month," she said.
