Sign Petition to Protect the Sister of Iranian Nobel Peace Laureate Shirin Ebadi

On Monday, three men and a woman from the Iranian Government arrived at the Tehran home Dr. Ebadi's sister, Nushin Ebadi and seized her and her computer.

"They have detained her so I stop my work," Shirin Ebadi, 62, told CNN's Reza Sayah in a phone call from London. "She has done nothing wrong. She's not involved in human rights work, and she's never participated in any of the protests."

Many political prisoners have recently died in Iranian prisons!

If you want to support Nushin Ebadi, please sign the petition to the Iranian Government requesting her release. Click here to sign petition

This is crazy! How can a government justify such human rights abuses? My thoughts and blessings go out to Shirin and her family.

I signed too. This is blatant abuse by the Iranian government. In Texas we need to follow this activity closely because we are having Shirin Ebadi at our conference.
