 Water for Mozambique

Location: Montreal, Canada
Project Goal: Our group wants to provide some of the most poverty stricken areas of Mozambique with safe drinking water.
Project Cause: In the poverty stricken areas of Mozambique, about 72% of people do not have access to safe and clean drinking water.
Project Plan: We plan to interview some of the immigrants to cultivate our understanding of the situation. Then we shall by getting sealed water bottles and sending them trough a company. We shall then raise some money to provide a specific poverty stricken village with a well and water pump and pipes.Our group also plans to visit Mozambique in the near future to help with the construction of the well,pump and pipes

 This sounds like a good project? Is there a specific organization that you are going to be working with? Is there a large Mozambican population in Montreal? It's also pretty cool that you are planning on going to Mozambique as part or this project. Best of luck and let us know how it goes! |
