Brett EHave a cool idea of how to improve the site? Have a suggestion for a better way to do something? If you do then please post it here. If we like the idea and it's feasible then we will try to implement it. It may not be done by the launch, but we are keeping a list so that post launch we can keep improving the site! When you post be sure to:

1) Post a full URL to any pages you are talking about
2) Go into detail about what your idea/suggestion is

Thanks!

In search albums and Video page, I think "By Poster Name" could be done more efficiently. It's a great idea but I think that list might run into thousands of names eventually if it list all PeaceJam users. Instead, can we do it as a keyword search?

Penpa DAnd I think Steve should get credit for designing this website. So may be at the bottom of the page, there should be a mention of something like " Site donated and designed by Steve Schlauch" so in case future clients of Steve want to look at his work...Steve can give our website link.

And Steve You did awesome job. This is probably the first time PeaceJam has a website that says it all. This is really really huge and I wanna personally thank you for all the energy, time and thoughts you put into it and I am sooooooooooo excited

Penpa Dand also, it would be smart to have a DONATE link/button on the footer. All fund raising guru says it is smart to have DONATE button stand out and right in front of people's eyes.

And may be the DONATE button on the header needs to be a different color or Bigger or something, so that it doesn't get ignored.

Fund raising is going to be crucial part of this new website's goal, specially building small donors out of PeaceJammers and others who register on the site.

I'll definately change that to a keyword search. It feels like decades ago that the gallery page was built and I didn't have a keyword function built yet so I just took a temporary shortcut. Thanks for reminding me - it's easy to forget about things like that if no one does =]

Penpa DSuggestions on upgrade :

PM Quote Edit

The above needs to be of darker color. I was searching for the "edit" button for five minutes before Brett told me where to find it. Since it's the same background color as the box, it camouflages and easy to miss it even though it's right in front of my eyes.

Steve SYeah, but once you know where it is you're golden ;).

It's a trade-off between being somewhat hidden and taking too much focus.

Brett EWhen you add someone as staff to an affiliate/chapter, can they get a private message letting them know? Right now they aren't notified so they won't know their access changed.

Brett EOn "Register a Project" page, people seem to be skipping or missing the project location at the end. Not sure how to get people to use it - maybe make the long/lat required?

I know I skipped it because we hope for it to expand, and anyone can be a part of it.
Not sure if that's the case.
