 When I mention PeaceJam, people always look at me like "what in the world is that?" I have to explain the ideas and goals of Peacejam almost daily, but it never gets old. When i came to FSU I was looking to get involved in something that would not only affect my life, but also the lives of others. PeaceJam was exactly what i was looking for. My GCA is "Halting the spread of global disease," I am a strong advocate for medical research and providing vaccinations to those who cannot attain them due to location, financial status, or lack of understanding of their effect. I want to be a mentor so i can become as involved as possible with this organization, and so that I can help the youth of our nation be the change we want to see in the world. |
