 Light Up a Life With a Llama

Project Goal: The overall mission of this project is to send a llama to someone who is in need of such livestock using the Heifer International program as our means of sending and providing this llama.
Project Cause: The root cause that we are addressing here is world hunger, and a lack of quality of living. Without a lack of resources and supplies then people would be able to sustain for themselves and have the means necessary to increase their quality of living. Sending a llama might be a means of assisting in this endeavor because llamas are a versatile animal that have many different uses to help in agricultural endeavors.
Project Plan: Our plan to address this problem is to have a community petting zoo made available to us with the help of our local FFA, at this event we will have donation jars to raise the funds necessary to give the gift of a llama, and in addition have pamphlets,brochures, and posters necessary to raise awareness to the issues surrounding world hunger and how Heifer International can help.
