I'm Brett. I helped design and build the site. I've worked with PeaceJam for about 13 years, since I was pretty young. I used to emcee at conferences but have moved to doing web stuff instead.
I'm super excited about this new site and hope to reconnect with a bunch of PeaceJammers =) |

| My name is Anthony D'Angelo. I've been to one Peace Jam conference, the one at LMU in September. Above all, I'm a huge geek. I make stop-motion animation, and other various videos. I've beta tested a few different sites. I'm glad that this site is up, because I'll be able to put the many photos I took at LMU. My current service project is working with kids at an organization called The Friendship circle, where I am head of the video division (which consists of me and my buddy) as well as the inclusion ministry at my school/church. I'm looking forward to trying out the site! |

Awesome Anthony =)
You should add your project to the site so you can test that section out plus get it recorded! If you already put it on the old GCA site then it has been transferred, so just search for it and join it, then PM me and I'll set you as the leader.

I'm Bradlee Arendt and I work at the International Headquarters of PeaceJam. I do a lot of photography for PeaceJam and would love to help you capture your GCA projects to the best of your ability. I'm an award winning photographer and I'm holding a photo/video webinar June 3rd. To learn how to take better photographs and videos in order to show the world the great work you and you're group have been doing, send me a message for more details. So pumped for this new site! |

I'm Michael Anderson and I work as an AmeriCorps Volunteer at the PeaceJam International Headquarters. I have a great time working on the garden level where it's cool if I blast my Led Zeppelin Pandora radio station...a little Misty Mountain Hop never hurt...I get to wrangle around with all ages of kids doing various GCA projects (eliminating Styrofoam is one)...I enjoy a good read, a rainy day, a sunny day, and a mildly cloudy day too, I enjoy days in general...I'm working on putting together a sweet Eco-Camp this summer (in Denver)in which we need volunteers to work with kids - the more the merrier, send me a message if interested...much love to all :) |

I'm Michael Rodino! This is my second year of Peace Jamming, I'm a Junior in High school from [Big announcer's voice] GLLLLASTONBURY CONNECTICUT! ((Sorry. Had to do it)) I'm incredibly involved in my project as well as a few others in the northeast. I help out with a few in Maine as well as one other in Connecticut. I'm a music producer as well and I love this organization to bits. I also am a Nerdfighter(It's not a bad thing. It's a good thing) which is a group of "nerdy" people who have banded together to decrease world suck, and it's a wonderful group and I get new ideas every day from them for projects especially around Project for Awesome time, when every nerdfighter(which there are about oh... 20,000 or more) makes a youtube video about a specific organization or charity that they think should be donated to and we flood youtube with our ideas. Last year I did peace jam and recieved a really solid response. I've moderated and beta tested a lot of websites and forums and I'm really excited to be here for Peace Jam!
All the best. ~Mike |

I'm Aaron Schwartzbaum this is my first time Peace Jamming, I am kind of new to all of this, but really eager to get involved. I'm currently interning with an NGO at the UN (I am from Westchester, NY) which has really given me insight into how all of these peace efforts work.
In my free time I produce electronic dance music (long story...), play piano, and fence. I'm also working full time as a lifeguard this summer
I am quite familiar with forums and have moderated a few times before!
Looking forward to getting to know you guys! |

I'm Steve - I'm not really affiliated with PeaceJam in any official sense but just sort of got suckered into designing and building a website for these guys through Brett's voodoo mind tricks. What started out as a 'facelift' somehow kept snowballing and hopefully the end result is more Demi Moore and less Michael Jackson.
Besides sitting idly by while Brett guts my personal and social lives, I work as an engineer doing R&D for a technology company, and do my part to prop up the sagging Canadian beer industry.
Cheers |
