 Hope for Haiti

Location: Hardwick, United States of America
Project Goal: Our mission is to raise funds to support relief work in Haiti. Our "dress down/ sleep in" day is tomorrow and we've raised $1,375 for Haiti !!!
Project Cause: The earthquake in Haiti has left this already poor, Third World country devastated.
Project Plan: We plan to organize a "dress down & sleep in" day at our school. Students will donate $10 to Haiti relief and in return they will have permission to be exempt from school dress code rules and have permission to arrive at school 30 minutes later than usual on that day. We plan on donating all the money we raise to relief efforts

 Thanks! We are so lucky to have a wonderfully understanding and supportive administration- so all the kids had to do was submit a proposal for the project. The administration helped us coordinate the details for the actual "sleep in" morning, too! |

 That is awesome. How did you fundraise? And do you know where you will give the money to? Here are two excellent suggestions that we are partnering with in other regions: CLICK FOR INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CORPS SITE
They are an incredible aid organization that do not just put a band aid on people and communities but help teach them how to live themselves out of a crisis once their immediate needs have been met. They are well worth it and have great integrity in what they do and unlike the red cross every penny goes to allocated areas requested instead of a big pool of money.
