Hello,
I am helping to facilitate a online program for homeschoolers 12-14 years. They are scattered around British Columbia, Canada. I am interested in offering the PeaceJam leaders curriculum to this group. The challenge will be to do it in a solely online environment. We have a central website where activities/questions/ideas can be shared and material presented. We often use video conferencing programs to communicate, as well.
My question is-- has anyone facilitated a PeaceJam program in this way, online to a disparate group of learners who have never met and don't really know each other? Have you ever heard of anyone, anywhere, running it like this?
Any thoughts appreciated!

Hi Kristina,
My name is Kate and I am an Americorp VISTA with PJ Rocky Mountain Region. I've never facilitated an online-only group, but I think it's a really cool idea and applaud your effort & energy. That being said, I will brainstorm with some of the other PeaceJammers at our office and see if we can come up with any ideas that might benefit your group.
Hope this finds you well! |
