 Exploring Environmental and Transportation Issues around Rhode Island College

Project Goal: The goal of the project is to raise awareness about environmental problems around the Woonasquaucket River in Providence, Rhode Island. Also, I focused on exploring alternative transportation for Rhode Island College.
Project Cause: The root cause of the environmental problems were industries and factories polluting the Woonasquatucket River fromt the industrial revolution to the present.
Project Plan: I planned a tour of the Woonsquatucket River Watershed to raise awareness about the environmental problems with the river and the green space we have here in Providence. A map of the Woonasquatucket River Greenway was made and will be placed in the Student Union at Rhode Island College.
