 Hello, My name is Tiffany Lanier and I'm a senior in Media/Communications studies with a minor in Psychology at Florida State!
I learned a little about Peacejam last spring, where I had the opportunity to volunteer but didn't become a mentor because I found out to late! :( But this year I was all about it. I started working with PeaceJam in the beginning of Fall and was able to present at the PeaceJam slam as well as teach at the Boys and Girls club.
I would say I definitely have a Passion for Peace...and love...and unity...lol
The possiblility to teach the generation beneath us to take a stand for somthing they believe in as well as help them learn more about social injustice in the world, gives us a major opportunity to learn and grow as leaders of our future.
I couldn't be more excited about this conference,getting to meet a Nobel Peace Laureate, and empowering students...what more can you ask for!?
