Project Goal: “Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.” ~ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
One of the most memorable quotes fom the “I have a Dream” speech are the 19 words printed above. They resonate for call of peace to a nation that has taken a path that leads our youth askew. These words are still very important today, not only for our nation but for the entire world as well.
Project Cause: Social Justice an Human Rights for All, is the root cause our group has decided to address. We see the need for kindness and trust within our own community has grown tremendously during these past few years. Hate, anger, and dispare is evident in today's youth so, if we can show that there is still a group of young americans that still hold fast to the words of a great man like Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. then there is still hope for the generation.
Project Plan: Create a youtube channel for youth to post their insprational 3 random acts of kindness. The 3 POINT- O stand for; Three Personal Observations of Incredible Need That we'll Overcome. Drawing inspiration from the indelible Dr. King we are staring a movement of kindness in our community and hopefully, the world.
