This is not your average youth conference!
The PeaceJam Global Call to Action Conference
brings over 3000 youth leaders from around
the world together with SEVEN Nobel Peace
Prize winners to launch the most powerful
youth movement in history. The event will
be interactive with small group discussions,
music, speeches by Nobel Peace Laureates,
service projects in the Los Angeles community,
and special workshop sessions with the participating
Nobel Peace Laureates.
PeaceJam has no religious or political affiliation
and we encourage all participants to bring
a variety of ideas, strategies, and opinions
to this event. This is the only way we will
be able to build an inclusive movement to
create lasting and positive change in our
world.

WHERE? The
conference will be held on the campus of
Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles,
California, USA. Participants are encouraged
to stay at our conference hotel, which is
in the Starwood Family of hotels - more information
will be provided to participants upon the
acceptance of their applications.
WHEN? PeaceJam's
Global Call to Action Conference takes
place on Thursday, September 11th - Saturday,
September 13th, 2008.
WHY? The 2008
PeaceJam Global Call to Action Conference
serves as the launch of the PeaceJam Foundation's
10-year Global Call to Action campaign.
We want everyone to help us reach our goal
of creating 1 BILLION Global Call to Action
projects by the year 2018! |
REGISTRATION FEES:
- $345 per youth participant
- $345 per adult sponsor
- $200 per mentor
Fees include the conference, shuttle rides
to and from hotel or offsite parking, three
meals on Friday and two meals on Saturday.
PLEASE MAKE NOTE: Meals
will not be provided on Thursday.
HOTEL ROOM:
- One or two people per room - $89/night
+ tax
- Three people per room - $99/night
+ tax
- Four people per room - $109/night

- Airfare or other transportation to
and from the conference (PLEASE
NOTE: Once at the hotel, PeaceJam
