Winners of the Global Call To Action Challenge will be picked in two ways:- PeaceJam will pick a panel of judges who will select winner(s).
- PeaceJam.org members may also be able to vote for their favorites on the PeaceJam website. The entry with the most votes in each category may receive a Members' Choice Award.
Our judges will be looking for:- Is your project a high-quality project according to the PeaceJam Service Project High Quality Standards? Your project does not have to be completed to enter, but you need to have made real progress toward your goals.
- Does your entry inspire others to get involved? Does it move the reader or viewer to take on the pressing issues of our world like poverty, ending violence, and defending the environment?
- How well have you used your format, whether it’s video, writing, or PowerPoint? Is your work skillful, creative, and interesting?
Winning Entries
The judges will begin reviewing the entries starting in July 2011.
Challenge Timeline
The deadline for submission is Sept. 16, 2011.
All winners will be notified by early October.
Grand Prize Award Luncheon will take place in Denver, Colorado on November 15, 2011.
Grand Prize Laureate Visit will take place within 12 months of prize announcement. |
