Have you been working to change the world? Now is your chance to inspire others by telling them about your project. Enter the Global Call to Action Challenge. Not only will you help build the movement, but you might win the chance to work with a Nobel Peace Laureate!
To enter the GCA Challenge, you must create ONE of these:
- a short video (3 to 5 minutes)
- a magazine-style article with photos (500-1500 words)
- a PowerPoint presentation (3 to 5 minutes)
Whatever method you choose, we want you to tell us about your project in a way that will make people want to join in the Global Call To Action movement for real change.
Win a Visit From a Nobel Peace Prize Winner!
The Challenge Grand Prize winner will be visited by a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate! The visiting Laureate will meet with your project team and discuss the work you have been doing. Three of your team representatives will also attend the PeaceJam Annual Awards Luncheon in Denver, Colorado on November 13, 2012 to receive an official award for your work.
In addition to the Grand Prize winner, our judges may elect to pick winners in each submission category. Entries may be featured on the PJ.org website and may be shown at PeaceJam Youth Conferences throughout the world.
All entries must be received by September 28, 2012.
The winners will be announced in October 2012.
This is your chance to help build the movement for change beyond your own community. Can you move others to take part in making our world a better place? That’s the Global Call to Action Challenge!
