This event will be held at a cool, locally owned ice cream shop called Little Man Ice Cream. There is a park across the street, so after you grab an ice cream cone, come to the park to hang out with other PeaceJam students, mentors, teachers, volunteers and PeaceJam Staff. If kickball isn't your thing, feel free to bring any Lawn Games, Footballs, Frisbees, etc. for a grand ol' time.
Little Man Ice Cream is doing their part to help end world hunger; they have a “Scoop for Scoop” program where they give one scoop of rice to villages in Ethiopia and Myanmar per scoop of ice cream sold here in Denver. To date they have shared over 98,500 scoops of rice!
