We are delighted to be welcoming Betty Williams back to the Northeast for the 2012 PeaceJam Northeast Youth Conference, to be held Mar. 24-25 at the Storrs campus of the University of Connecticut.
Betty was the co-recipient (with Mairead Corrigan Maguire) of the 1976 Nobel Peace Prize for the work in creating a grass roots movement to end the violence in Northern Ireland. She is much beloved by PeaceJammers not only for what she has done in the world, but how she connects with young people at PeaceJam conferences around the world.
The registration fee for this year's conference will again be $125 per participant (Youth and Advisor).
Please note that clicking on "Attend This Event" will not register you for this conference. TO REGISTER OR FOR FULL DETAILS, visit www.PeaceJam-NE.org. |
