2010 PeaceJam Conference: Houston, Tx
The Jam is your opportunity to meet and work directly with a Nobel Peace Laureate as well as 200-500 other youth who are interested in creating change in themselves, their communities, and the world. If you come to a Jam, you are in for an extraordinary two days full of inspiration, connection, skill building, service, teamwork, creativity and fun!
The Jam will take place at the University Center at the University of Houston on March 27-28th. The Conference features 2003 Nobel Peace Laureate Shirin Ebadi, women and children's rights activist from Iran. The theme is "Women and Children's Rights and their Role as Leaders" and there will be interactive workshops and service projects surrounding this theme. We can't wait to host Shirin Ebadi!
