Midsouth PeaceJam Youth Conference 2010 with Shirin Ebadi
2-day Youth Conference for PeaceJammers ages 14-19 and their adult advisors with Nobel Peace Laureate Shirin Ebadi.

Shirin Ebadi won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for her efforts for peace and women's rights in Iran and across the Middle East. A lawyer by trade, she continues to live in Iran, working to defend the human rights of all people.

The public talk will occur on Friday, February 19, in the evening at the Michael D. Rose Theatre & Lecture Hall at the University of Memphis.

The actual youth conference will begin at 8am on Saturday, February 20, at Rhodes College. The conference will conclude at 3:30pm on Sunday, February 21, with a closing ceremony at Rhodes College.
