PeaceJam DC
PeaceJam DC is a mentorship and service-learning program, whereby college students work with high schoolers at KIPP DC College Preparatory School in Anacostia to do the PeaceJam Ambassador's curriculum. We go to the school once weekly to engage students in discussions and lessons, we do monthly group service activities, and we facilitate the design and implementation of the youth's service projects. As of now, the club is run through the Georgetown University Center for Social Justice and consists of Georgetown students serving as mentors.
