As a Family Group Mentor, you work with another family group mentor to lead the 10-13 youth participants who are in your Family Group. You do things like facilitating team building exercises, talking about real-life issues, & getting to know each other in a fun, high-energy, and yet relaxed atmosphere. You also get to attend engaging workshops and inspirational sessions, participate in a service-learning project, enjoy a cultural exposition (like listening to AMAZING drummers or break-it down salsa-dancing), cheer participants on as they present the service-learning projects they've been working on, & meet a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. |
