Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge?
Posted 3/15/2011 at 5:48 AM by Tori M
So, I had an idea this morning. Why don't us lot at PeaceJam UK do the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise some money. I've sent of some enquiries to see what we need to do to organise it. The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge involves walking up Pen-y-ghent (691 metres), Whernside (728 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) in 12 hours.

The problem is that I'm really unfit and all I can think is "ARGH! I need to start going to the gym!" What am I getting myself into, ey?

We'll keep you posted on the PJUK team's attempt to raise money/get fit!

Oh man, this sounds awesome! I've never been to the UK before, but walking up peaks sounds like it'd be lovely too. Definitely a lot nicer than running a silly marathon. You guys can definitely do this!

Well I'm going to start organising it this week. I reckon we're looking at May - good weather, but not too busy with holiday-makers in the hills.
