Water? Matter? for u?
Posted 9/25/2009 at 8:39 AM by Rafael B
Have you ever think about doing something for this natural resource that is running? or you are still using this resource in an irrational way without helping sustainability?

Have you ever think about how many liters of water u spend brushing your teeth? 2 liters...

Have u ever think about how many liters u spend going to the restroom in the morning? 10 liters...

and what about taking a shower? 20/30 liters...

Well actually a person spends aproximately 300 liters....

Are u doing something to keep this natural resource in the world? or u don´t care?

Do u have any project or idea to help with this? let us know in this blog...

We are starting by washing our teeth when we are taking our shower, and what about if u use the shower instead of the restroom (u know what I mean)... Just think about How many liters of this resource u can save doing small things like those!?

We can do something, but we have to start now... what do you think about? and what do u think u can do?

I am a master of the 5 minute shower. For the ladies...shave your legs with lotion or aloe vera instead of water and shaving cream!

that´s really cool theresa... cuz u know... a man probably spend 10/15 minutes in a shower, but a lady spend like 20, and actually if she has to wash her hair... well, would be like 40 minutes! lol... so keep going with the 5 minutes shower! I´m trying too, cuz I really love my shower time in the morning with hot water... =p .... but is time to do something =)

Excellent, thanks for sharing these figures!
I once met a college group who had an environmental club house on campus, and in order to live in this house, you had to follow their sustainability rules. One was no shower longer than seven minutes, and they would literally time new-comers to the house. I thought this was awesome.
I personally refuse to shower everyday. It's just not necessary.

yeah hot showers are a weakness of mine, I loveeeeeeeee them so much.

i used to leave the water running while I brushed my teeth. Such a stupid waste. Now I barely use any water while brushing my teeth cause I just put a little on the brush with the toothpaste, and then quickly rinse the brush/my mouth at the end.

I also used to be much worse about water when it comes to washing dishes but now I try and turn it on/off only as needed.

As for going to the bathroom in the shower, that was always cause it's too cold to get out rather than trying to save water! haha.... but for some reason #2 never seems to work so well... jkjkjk
