The 5th Annual Trinity International Hip-Hop Festival Focusing on Social Justice, a student project that started off to unify Trinity students and residents in ths community of Hartford, has thus evolved into an international meeting place for hip-hop pratitioners who seek to effect social & political change.
3rd annual Peace it up Youth Conference @ Trinity College
Extented education 4 Youth Making Change.
Youth paticipated in workshops that focused on Non-Violent origins of Hip-Hop, using Hip-Hop & Poetry as foundation and medium for communication, Motivation and Persistence, and widening vocabularies.
The Mayor of Hartford addressed the Youth in the importance of community engagement.
Presenters performed in the Arts of Frestyling, Beatboxing, Breakdancing, mural arts(graphiti), Spoken Word(poerty).
This years Peace It Up Conference was awesome!!!!
