I experienced a transformative moment in our group's meeting this week.
We kicked off the meeting by reading Esquivel's acceptance speech for the peace prize. I was taken aback at the impact it had on our group.
After I finished reading, one kid blurted out, "I love him!", and another chimed in saying, " I can't wait to meet him!".
His words had the power to change the whole tone and focus of our time together in a meaningful way. We felt deeply moved and eager to discuss the specifics of his message.
Amazing.
