Hi, I am a new member here. My English also so poor. However, I am a nature lover, disciple of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and fan of visionary peace leaders. Hence, I hope you will forgive me for my writing.

I am a Tibetan who came to India at the age of 9 through Mighty Himalayan mountains for education. I did not know i was a refugee until the issue of Tibet and China was clear to me. However, i learned a lot from my life in exile.

Most of time, what i see is the differences in society. Discrimination is common everywhere i go. Destruction and killing are human's weakness to me. Everywhere, lots of conflicts are there. But these are not unsolvable. Because our human nature is wise and sociable.

So i promised to work for peace and welfare of our world through education and awareness. Once, we are educated, wisdom is there within us. It is the essence of education. Dialogue with open mind is the key for everything.

With this sense, i started learning from Educated peoples, peace leaders, books, society and many others who have the sense of humanity. I also learned from the weakness we have. Through my learning journey, mottoes like ' Others Before Self', 'Be Ye A Lamp Upon Yourself', ect. are guiding principles for me.

I also believe in the proverb, where there is a will, there is way. In this century, all people dream and work for a peaceful century. human beings are the major changing factor for this world. Thus, change starts here is our will and peace is our way.

last but not least, I am simply here to be a part of you which i feel a part of solution and wish to learn a lot from you. My only aspiration is see you working for world peace and thinking for future bright and safe.

Tashi Delek and Nice to meet you~

That was a very thoughtful, well written post.

I like this, especially:

"Once, we are educated, wisdom is there within us. It is the essence of education. Dialogue with open mind is the key for everything."

Welcome to the PJ site! I look forward to reading more.
